The Flight of Stars Foundation was founded by Maria Hubenova and Gloria Keremedchieva.
The Foundation is an independent non-governmental organization whose goals are to support the development and validation of performers-artists in the field of music and performing arts. To assist in the preservation of the cultural and musical heritage of Bulgaria, to support, through campaigns, the organization of competitions, festivals, master classes and others. To carry out international musical and cultural exchange with related organizations organizing various events for children and youth, to be a bridge for cooperation with state and municipal institutions, as well as with non-governmental organizations and third parties in the country and abroad.

 

The objectives of the organisation are:

  • to support the development and promotion of contemporary music culture and education;
  • to provide more opportunities for the talents in the musical and performing arts;
  • to organize training courses, workshops, festivals, competitions, and other cultural events;
  • to carry out recording and production activities;
  • to establish a long-term scholarship program for gifted children;
  • to develop partnerships with national and international cultural organizations.

Maria Hubenova

Maria Hubenova is a singer, vocal coach, organizer, founder, and director of Artistic MuzArto Academy. She graduated from the National School of Music “Filip Kutev” in Kotel, then from the Academy of Performing Arts “Asen Diamandiev” in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She graduated in music pedagogy and conducting.

She perfected her pedagogical approach in the master classes of Prof. Christiane Karam, Yıldız İbrahimova, Don Braden, and Gospel Academy – Denmark. She specialized in vocal technique with Silva Makamian – Cyprus.

For 10 years she has been part of the world famous Vanya Moneva Choir.
For 15 years she has been an active teacher, and her students have won prizes at national and international competitions. In the last year she has also worked as a vocal designer on projects by Dara Ekimova, Iskren Tonchev – Iskrata, Yulian Kostov, Eva Parmakova, and Pamela Megan-Apsi.

As the founder of Artistic MuzArto Academy, she has organized over 50 concerts, including charity concerts, as well as over 18 master classes with Bulgarian and foreign mentors:

Gloria Keremedchieva

Gloria Keremedchieva is a pianist, teacher, organizer, founder, and director of the Art Festival “The Face of the Art” – Sveti Vlas.

She graduated from NUMSI “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, the city of Burgas, then the NMA “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia and AMTII “Asen Diamandiev” – Plovdiv with piano and art management.

Over the years she has participated in numerous master classes and has been awarded prizes in national and international competitions (International Competition for German and Austrian Music “Magic”; International Competition for Pianists “Albert Roussel”; National Competition for Bulgarian Music “Varban Varbanov”, International Competition “Music and the Earth”, etc.).

For two consecutive years, she has been a scholarship holder of the America for Bulgaria Foundation and the Ministry of Culture for children with outstanding gifts.

Year 1 is part of the Comenius International Programme in a project with three other countries – Latvia, Poland, and Cyprus.

In addition to being an active pianist, she has 10 years of teaching experience. Her students are laureates of national and international competitions. As part of the Artistic MusicArt Academy, he has organized over 20 concerts.

In 2016 she was the founder and organizer of the Art Festival “The Face of the Art” in the town of Sveti Vlas.
